Bristol’s flagship international scholarship scheme contributes toward tuition for eligible overseas-fee students on in-person undergraduate or postgraduate study.
Funding & benefits
For September 2027, Bristol lists undergraduate awards of £6,500 or £13,000 and postgraduate awards of £3,000, £6,500, £13,000 or £26,000. The award is a tuition contribution, not a general living-cost guarantee.
Eligibility & requirements
Applicants must have applied for an eligible in-person course starting September 2027 and be assessed as overseas for fee purposes. Distance learning, online, part-time and excluded courses are not eligible.

For September 2027 entry, applications close at 13:00 UK time on 19 March 2027. Check the current Bristol page before applying.
Documents to prepare
Obtain a Bristol application ID, then complete the international scholarships form and any information requested in the current guidance.
How to apply
Apply to Bristol first, then submit the online international scholarship form. The one form may also consider applicants for specified partner awards where eligible.
